These workshops explore our life phases and is a study of biography suitable for teachers, parents and everyone interested in individual development and the course of life.

In this 3 weekend course we span our biography from pre-birth to post death to consciously grasp our karma and its intentions. Rudolf Steiner indicates fundamental chapters in our biographical development.

Deeper penetration of the details of these chapters offers a clear reading of our life tasks, our transformation direction, our karmic debts, as well as identification of the obstacles, challenges, gifts and helpers in our life script. These are made visible in the mandala you will create.

1. Karmic Necessity

February 17-18, 2018

We draw the first three rounds of our mandala to highlight our birth note, pre-birth development, etheric gifts, astral temptations, and karmic issues that we needed to pick up again. We add the landscape of our beginnings into the mandala.

2.Battle for the Soul

March 10-11, 2018

We draw the next round of the encounters, situations, and crises that provided the opportunities for our personal transformation towards freedom under the guidance of the sun. We add the spiritual forces we are battling with as well as those active on our behalf.

3. Free Karma for the World and For the Self

May 26-27, 2018 (Please note this date has changed from March to May)
Note: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Karla Cryer is now unable to present this workshop.

Bernard Lievegoed (Phases: Crisis and Development in the Individual) tells us that as we approach the end of our cycle of seven-year life phases, we need to gather up our biography and run for the finish! The latter half of life used to be seen as a time of graceful retirement; yet nowadays, more and more is demanded of us as we age. How can we take the fruits of our youth and turn them into gifts for the world and our future karma? This workshop focuses on the challenges and gifts of the second half of life.

Themes include understanding free karma, inner rejuvenation and physical ageing, loneliness and approaching the threshold. Activities include biographical chart, contemplative exercises, painting and group sharing.
